I have worked as a scenic artist for theater, opera, ballet, television, commercials, and feature films for thirty years, raised a family (three daughters in San Francisco) and stole whatever time I had for myself to paint. What compels me is nuance, humor, anger, a striking pose, strokes of pure color and line.
